Smart energy apps, to me, are a new genre of interfaces that mostly don't exist yet, but seem inevitable. Concepts like the smart-grid rely on a great deal of consumer comprehension and interaction with things like daily fluctuations in the electricity market. The fact that brand new concepts like this are being introduced along with new platforms and hardware for the purpose of saving the planet/economy is very exciting to me and I'm looking for people to talk to about ideas.
