Visual Designer - Artefact - Seattle
Artefact is an award-winning technology product design company dedicated to defining next-generation products and user experiences that lead to preferable outcomes for society, humanity, and the environment.
We are looking for an entry to mid-level visual designer to join our Seattle studio! As a visual designer at Artefact, you will be part of a group of design consultants and researchers working on a variety of products—from games and hardware devices to all types of consumer and enterprise level software applications. You should share our passion for solving problems for users, and strive to create visually simple and elegant solutions utilizing a full range of mediums and design tools.
Requirements
- BA or MA level design degree preferred
- 2-4 years of hands-on visual design experience, preferably in digital mediums
- Demonstrated proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Director, and HTML/Web authoring tools
- A passion for seeking highly creative solutions for clients and users
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communicator and storyteller
- A visually compelling online portfolio
