We are looking for a UX/IA Architect to join our team of designers, developers and strategists and help with client-facing application design.
UX/IA Architect executes the creative vision of a project and will be responsible for the consistent production of high-quality, innovative design solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
UX/IA Architect will be responsible for the production and delivery of creative design deliverables and making the connection between business needs and interface design.
Translate complex visions and product functionality into simple, streamlined, and elegant designs that emphasize minimal effort for our customers.
UX/IAArchitect imagines and specifies navigation, framework, and basic page design through sketches, wireframes, IA maps, task flows.
UX/IA Architect is involved early and often collaborating with cross-functional teams as products move from Discovery to Visual Design.
Analyze products and create various product research deliverables (stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, etc.)
Run design reviews with cross-functional teams and conduct usability testing with external customers.
Support CabForward business development efforts by helping identify base design requirements and activities through early conversations with prospective customers.
Create and refine various CabForward business development materials to reflect our company mission, direction and values.
What You Need For This Position
Passionate about design.
Eager to get to know our customers audience and understand what drives them.
Agile and experiment driven.
Articulate, communicative, and opinionated (especially when it comes to design).
Experienced in design best practices and can suggest process changes to help improve efficiency in our design / product lifecycle.
Able to take leadership and ownership roles within the team to get features and projects done.
Willing and able to use anything from pencil and paper to Photoshop in order to sketch out their design vision.
Degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or related field.
5+ years experience delivering web and mobile applications.
Demonstrated experience launching v1 products.
Expert in design principles and methodology.
An online portfolio (easy to navigate, contain whole apps and websites, provide evidence that you're strong on the UI and wireframing side of things).
Bonus points if you come with agency experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
