UI Designer Opportunity - SolarWinds (Austin, TX)

Design intuitive user interfaces for a fun, fast growing, profitable public company here in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
• Turn high level product requirements into workflows, wireframes, and comps
• Effectively share designs with developers, both here in Austin and offshore
• Thoughtfully incorporate user, developer, and product manager feedback into design revisions
• Review existing and newly implemented user interfaces and give detailed, constructive feedback
• Address usability issues in products quickly – cook up solutions in minutes and hours, not days and weeks
• Provide production art necessary to implement your designs
Your daily work will be seen and used by thousands of SolarWinds users.
Musts:
• Experience designing software user interfaces
• Comfortable working in Photoshop
• Ability to quickly mock up software UIs
• Knowledge of current web trends and technology
Pluses:
• Experience with Axure, Illustrator, Visio, Dreamweaver, Omnigraffle
• Networking knowledge
• HTML/CSS/.NET experience
• Iconography skills
• Strong visual design aesthetic and ability
• Experience informally testing UI designs and software for good usability
• Sense of humor
