Applause (www.applause.com) is looking for a freelance UX researcher to work remotely with Applause and Applause customers.

Applause is the global leader in digital experience quality and provides testing, feedback and insights offerings.  

What you’ll do

  • Work with customers to understand their product and goals for the UX study

  • Define user scenarios, tasks and questions

  • Work with the Applause project manager to define participant profiles

  • Run moderated studies (remote or in-person)

  • Administer remote unmoderated studies (survey and video)

  • Analyze session results (qualitative and quantitative)

  • Create and present a custom report that delivers compelling insights and provides actionable feedback to guide the customer’s product and design decisions

Who you are

  • 3+ years in user experience and UX research

  • A degree in human factors, psychology, social sciences or a related field

  • Experience in moderated and unmoderated qualitative research methods

  • Experience in quantitative research methods

  • Comfortable planning, scoping, conducting and communicating research

  • Native or near-native speaker of English

  • Great communicator who is comfortable interacting with marketing and business people, designers and engineers

  • Comfortable working remotely from your home

  • Available during U.S. business hours to participate in customer calls and reply to customer emails in a timely manner

  • Preferably some B2B experience in addition to your consumer-oriented experience

  • Preferably some interaction design background

This is a project-based opportunity. Once you are part of our freelance UX researcher team, we will reach out to you when a project becomes available.
