This shortened redux of their sold-out Right Way To Wireframe workshop will be presented by Will Evans and will revolve around a single design problem. Before the workshop, a third party (Lend4Health) provided clear business requirements to the four user experience designers leading it. They will each choose their own tool and method for exploring the requirements via wireframes and specifications. They will each work with their own graphic designer to develop and apply a visual design.
Will is going to present the business context, his personal design process (from sketching to wireframing to visual design) to to show his solution in the problem space. He will each provide a detailed account of how he arrived at his solution and how the tools he used influenced them. Audience will be provided ample time to critique these solutions and ask questions of Will on any topic.
Will Evans is Director, Experience Design for Semantic Foundry with 14 years industry experience in interaction design, information architecture, and user experience strategy. His experiences includes directing UX for social network analytics and terrorism modeling at AIR Worldwide, UX Architect for social media site Gather.com and senior interaction designer for Kayak.com.
A distinguished speaker, Will provides lectures and seminars on such topics as user experience, strategic design, social interaction design, and findability. Will's work has been featured in numerous publications including Business Week, The Economist, Fortune, MSNBC and the Wall Street Journal.
